Checkers at 8001 Roosevelt Blvd. was a fast food and burger restaurant that prided itself on its drive-thru service. With over 30 years of experience, the restaurant offered enclosed kitchens and limited personal contact to ensure the safety of its guests during the Coronavirus pandemic. Although few dining rooms existed in the Checkers & Rally's system, the restaurant enforced policies such as frequent handwashing and proper glove utilization to maintain a safe environment for both guests and staff. Unfortunately, this restaurant has been permanently closed.

To get to the location at Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia, you can take the SEPTA bus route 1 or 14 and get off at the Roosevelt Boulevard and Welsh Road stop. Alternatively, you can take the SEPTA regional rail to the Fox Chase station and transfer to the bus route 18 or 24 to get off at the same stop.
If you are driving, take Roosevelt Boulevard (US-1) northbound until you reach Welsh Road. Turn right onto Welsh Road and then make a right into the parking lot of the shopping center where Checkers is located. There is ample parking available in the shopping center's parking lot.
