October means it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month. Wear your pink and get the girls checked !

I had my mammogram back in August of 2019. I had a few issues going on and I just wasn’t feeling like me. I thought it was a kidney stone cause I make them like a machine. After several Dr. visits and tons of test I was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic breast cancer. The mammogram never picked it up because I had breast reduction surgery a few years before and it looked like scar tissue. Plus, the mass was growing outward not up like a normal tumor and it was almost under my armpit. Luckily I have some wonderful docs who are taking the best care of me. The cancer has recently moved to my liver, so treatment has changed a bit and still may change a little more, but I’m still here, and I’m fighting the fight. Ladies get checked and please listen to your body when you feel off.

So now that the kitchen is done, you know I had to test the oven. Just made a simple batch of jumbo chocolate chips and s’mores stuffed chocolate chips. Oven is fantastic !

Happy almost end of April ! I can’t believe we are almost done with April, how did that happen? I know we are getting close to a couple busy months, Mothers Day, Graduation’s and all the important summer moments in your life, and we are moving on top of it all. Busy busy times.
If you were thinking about ordering something for Mothers Day or need Graduation cookies, please reach out sooner vs later. I already have a few orders and I want to make sure I get you on my calendar. I know a few people had expressed interest so now’s the time to let me know what you need and for when.

For drivers, take I-95 North or South to the Market Street exit. Follow Market Street east until you reach 5th Street. Turn north and continue driving for three more blocks. There are several parking garages available nearby for a fee.

The bakery and cupcake shop should be located at the end of the third block on your left-hand side.
