Souled Out's 1812 Cafe Introducing Souled Out's 1812 Cafe, a performance and event venue that also doubles as a cozy cafe. Located on Frankford Avenue, this cafe offers free parking in their private lot on Craig St, which is fully accessible for handicapped individuals through their parking lot elevator. Visitors can enjoy gourmet coffee, desserts, snacks, as well as a selection of cold beverages and light menu items for $5 or less. Please note that the cafe operates on the last Saturday of every month from September through June, with exceptions on the third Saturday in December and May. Stay tuned for upcoming events and join them for their next gathering on February 24th.

It is with great regret that we need to cancel this weekend's Coffeehouse event, due to no heat in our facility! our host church is diligently working on this issue and installing brand new split units, which will wonderfully provide both heating and air conditioning! We will also be changing to a different schedule for 2025, so please "Like" and visit our page as we will be posting announcements and scheduling information! Our NEXt event is currently scheduled for Saturday, March 29th, 2025! Stay tuned for details!

Especially at this time of year, we'd again like to say A HUGE 'Thank You" to everyone who made the first season of our 2nd location a tremendous success!! We could not have done it without each of you!! Please join us at our Thanksgiving Event TONIGHT, Saturday, November 23rd, as we welcome back the band "Testimony 19:7"! PLUS our very special guest, "Ray Ballou Seemans"! Pastor Ray is a true supporter, and an incredible talent, who operates a tremendous Ministry for homeless veterans! We really need YOU to make this NEW venue a complete success, and, along with Holmesburg UMC, continue to serve the people of our community. So, please come out and support us TONIGHT (Saturday, November 23rd, 7:00- 9:30 PM. Doors open at 6:30), as we continue this journey, and celebrate together!

We had an incredible time last night and a packed house as we celebrated our FIRST anniversary of Souled Out's 1812 Cafe! In case you missed it or found out about it too late, please join us as we celebrate Thanksgiving, a wee bit early, on Saturday, November 23rd! Opening up this wonderful evening will be my friend and incredible musician, Ray Seamans, wo directs Troubador Ministry in Deleware. The ministry, among other things, helps support homeless veterans, providing them with furnished housing. Ray has quite a musical background as well, making this an event not to be missed! Here is just a small sneak preview! Mark your Calendars now, and we will see you there!

Join us TOMORROW (Saturday, October 26th), as we WILL finally get to celebrate the FIRST anniversary of Souled Out's 1812 Cafe here at Holmesburg UMC!! To commemorate the historic occasion are 2 artists who are part of my history as a live sound engineer! Our featured artist is my friend (and former employer) Mark Caplan, and his band "Oracle"! Singing background vocals in the band is someone I first met when engineering Wednesday Night services for my former home Church in Upper Montclair NJ! Lisa Prokopowitz sang and played guitar in Wayne Monbleau's trio, which opened up the Bible Study he did at my church each week! Lisa has now been singing with Oracle besides having her own music ministry called "Shining River". I am honored that Lisa will not only be here with Oracle, but will also be sharing her music with us to open up this wonderful evening! So mark you calendars, and come join us TOMORROW, Saturday, October 26th, as we celebrate our FIRST successful year of operation at Holmesburg! You don't want to miss this!

It's hard to believe, but we have completed our FIRST Season of Souled Out's 1812 Cafe! Come join us for our FIRST Season Finale TONIGHT, Saturday, June 29th! Our "Featured Artist" is yet another stark example of where God has brought this ministry from and where we are headed, moving forward! "Patrizsha and The Soulterior Motives Worldwide Band" are just amazing artists! The very first time I heard the first lines of her song (co-written with Justin Sheehy) "Because of You" I was not only blown-away, but I was "hooked"! Besides being a phenomenal vocalist, Patrizsha's heart is completely sold out to Christ and the ministry God has clearly given to her. Patrizsha has a great heart for the underdog, and, although she can be found on any given Sunday to be feeding those in need in Asbury Park, NJ, she feels that people can be underprivileged in ways other than monetarily. Having been emotionally and spiritually bankrupt herself, Patrizsha uses her life experiences to help encourage and lift people's spirits as well as motivate them to change. Surviving pain, loss, recovery, and many adversities, Patrizsha shows how one can be transformed when you allow God to work in your life.
